Well, hey there.

Originally from Calgary, Alberta, my family moved north to Airdrie, where I dug in my roots and now still reside with my husband of five years and our doggo, Arnold.

In high school, I found myself working in a print centre. It was there that I was introduced to the soothing hum of a Xerox and quickly became intoxicated with the warm, woodsy smell of freshly printed 80lb. cardstock (full gloss, of course). I was hooked.

After high school, I spent some time traveling to Australia and Brazil, and eventually landed a serving job upon my return home. The #ServerLife is dynamic and fun, but I knew I didn’t want to do it forever. My love for print inspired me to save up for secondary education in my early 20s, and I completed a diploma in Graphic Communications & Print Technology at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in 2016.

Education opened me up to a world of possibilities, and I swiftly gravitated towards digital design. In early 2017, I was approached about a local graphic artist role and have been designing ever since; recently working remote for the past two years.

My experience in graphic design and communication has included wearing many hats, and it has allowed me to be self-taught in a variety of skills and software—which is where I thrive. I have discovered a love for web design and enjoy finding ways to make the overall user experience seamless.

As an artist, I am not shy to say I take pride in my work. I feel strongly that it’s the small details that bring everything together and you must know the rules before you can break them. I am eager to learn from others in the industry and seek to work alongside those who will sharpen me and who share a passion for beautiful design and bringing the client’s dream to life.
